Moshe Shalom, Associate at Zamir Equities, is responsible for supporting Zamir Equities in all commercial real estate investment analysis of the current Zamir Equities’ property portfolio. Moshe reports to Zamir Equities’ founder and chief executive officer, Asher Zamir, and Todd Techananalert, vice president, acquisitions and asset management.
Moshe provides the Zamir Equities’ Acquisitions and Asset Management team with initial analysis of all new acquisition opportunities. Moshe also actively performs financial modeling and due diligence for all Zamir Equities’ transactions. Moshe is also responsible for Zamir Equities’ brand communications and media relations.
Moshe joined Zamir Equities in 2016, after previously working as an analyst for a private real estate investment company in Brooklyn, focusing on local residential and multifamily, mixed-use properties. Moshe’s experience also spans multiple sectors of the broader investment landscape, with a background in both macroeconomic and equities research, and hedge funds that he now applies to Zamir Equities’ successful proprietary investment process.
A proud Brooklyn native, Moshe earned a B.S. degree in mathematics and computer science, along with a degree in Talmudic Theory and Jurisprudence and is currently pursuing the CFA charterholder. Moshe, a member of the New York Private Equity Network (NYPEN Real Estate), enjoys table tennis, architectural design, calligraphy, and photography.
